Description
A rare echo of the elegant Edwardian era. These charming items are pip or stone trays. Crafted in hallmarked silver, they have shell shaped bodies and twin 'lugs' to clip to the side of a plate. At a party or soirée, they would be used to put the discarded pips, stones or small bones on, thus removing them from the plate with the uneaten food. The last word in fine dining and a link to a bygone age.
