A beautifully restored barograph in a polished walnut case and engraved Selfridge, London on the lacquered brass baseplate. This instrument was probably made just prior Ww2 and has bevelled glass to the lift-off lid, a chart drawer to the base and is fitted with an unusual pen arm adjustment which I've not seen before. Note! You can see that it was previously advertised for sale and sold by a dealer at £1100, and I've dated it a little later than described. A quantity of weekly charts is included together with a fresh bottle of special blue recording ink and a reprinted
1930s pamphlet by Negretti & Zambra describing operating
instructions and how to interpret typical chart recordings.
