This is a remote reading thermograph made by the leading French instrument makers, Jules Richard. This is rare because in the majority of cases the capillary tube has been cut between the outside sensor & the inner movement. This one is complete & the pen arm moves freely when holding the remote sensor.
An integral cast iron base & wall bracket allows the case to be wall mounted if required.
This instrument has a seven day clock (working) & range of -10’C to +40’C which is ideal for the UK climate. Obviously the thermograph needs some cleaning & the glass panel to the front has broken & will need replacing but it's all there & would make a lovely restoration project.
