This magnificent antique 19th Century Burmese occasional table is of generous proportions and makes a real statement; it will certainly attract attention wherever it is placed. The solid wood top has a central circular section with a decorative and delicate filigree-carved and pierced 'skirt' with foliate designs. The abundance of high and low relief carvings continue on the central pedestal and tripod legs feature foliate designs and terminate in a mythical creature’s head (either a dragon or serpent).
