Superb Victorian Fern Etched Celery Vase

A superb example of a Victorian celery vase. This handsome piece has a flared rim with notch cut border and etched ferns to the body. The gorgeous baluster stem is panel cut, with a teardrop blown through and supporting collars to bowl and foot. The foot is cut with a multi point star. Celery vases are making a big comeback, as well laid tea tables and afternoon tea are very much on trend. The larger capacity of this superb piece offers an alternative use as a flower vase.
