An unusual and desirable American silver butter pick. This gorgeous Sterling example is in Potomac pattern and was used for lifting butter curls from a serving plate to a side plate. Of course, it has many alternative uses for serving, such as meat, cheese, pickles and olives. Made in Providence, Rhode Island in the early 20th Century, this is an elegant and collectable item of tableware with a practical use.
