Unusual + Very Decorative Iron Storage Box Table c.1915

This is an interesting and highly decorative storage box which would have held coal or logs but is perfectly suited snuggling up to a chair, plonked in the hallway or maybe in a bathroom. We would assume around 1910 and such a decorative piece with its hinged lid revealing plenty of space for odd and sods. It is well aged with its well cast wreath shaped handles, beaded top and lovely reeded pillar like legs. The piece sits firm with good historic wear. The liner does have a hole or two but this could be removed very easily. A lovely little piece of storage for modern or period homes.
