Vintage Blue Small Wardrobe Tallboy Cupboard, Childs Wardrobe

A useful vintage 'Utility' tallboy cupboard dating to the mid 20th century. The cupboard is compact and well made from plywood, teak and veneers. It is perfect for use in a room with limited space, a good alternative to a large wardrobe and would make a nice addition to a children's bedroom. The front is fitted with plain double doors which are lockable. The doors open to reveal a small hanging rail to the left and a run of shelves to the right. The cupboard is set on a slightly recessed base and the doors are finished with turned wooden knobs. The cupboard has been hand painted in a colour called 'Oxford Blue' from the Dulux Heritage paint range., the paint is water based eggshell with a smooth fairly matt finish. The colour is a gorgeous rich navy, it's not too dark, more like a Prussian blue. The paintwork has been very lightly distressed and then finished with clear wax for protection. Condition The cupboard is in solid structural condition with minor cosmetic marks of age and use. Measurements Height-123cms Width-84cms Depth-46cms
