Vintage German Pearl & 0.72ct Diamond, 14ct Yellow Gold Dress Ring c.1950

Impressive cultured pearl and 0.72 carat diamond, 14 carat yellow gold and 14 carat white gold dress ring; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive pearl and diamond ring has been crafted in 14ct yellow gold with a 14ct white gold setting. The vintage cocktail ring has a domed, oval shaped pierced decorated setting embellished with a scroll and bead decoration. The ring is ornamented with two feature 6mm cultured pearls set vertically. The ornate setting is further accented with five 14ct white gold set antique (circa 1900) Old European round cut diamonds, pavé and collet set horizontally to the centre of the design, between the cultured pearls. The trifurcated ring shoulders meet the main setting at a lobed design, and blend seamlessly with the hallmarked ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 14ct gold fineness mark (585), and due to the style of the setting, there is a strong probability of German origin.
