Vintage Italian Continental Silver Gilt & Enamel Comb c.1940

On offer is this fine quality vintage Italian enamel comb dating circa 1940. The comb is made of continental 800 grade silver (unmarked but tested) and has a wonderful vermeil finish. The comb is beautifully enamelled with a hand painted design featuring a courting couple in period clothing in a pastoral setting. The picture sits within a rococo styled silver and faux turquoise enamel border. This vintage Italian silver and enamel comb is offered in very good condition with no damage to the enamelled surfaces, good retained gold wash finish and the celluloid comb has no teeth missing.
