Description
Vintage (or possibly antique) Japanese or Chinese narrow collector's cabinet, specimen drawers, filing cabinet etc, made in the 1950s probably though it could be a fair bit older. Eleven small shallow drawers inside, made for collections or for office use, with two doors in front, each with two highly carved panels featuring stylised plants in pots. The top is also carved, this time with a dragon. Sides and backs have plain panels.

Barnaby's of Battle has clarified that the Vintage Oriental Carved Collector's Chest Cabinet (LA518020) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1950s
condition
Condition is pretty good structurally: it's sound enough; just a little lateral movement in the joints but not much. The top has been repaired where it has come in two. Cosmetically it has various bumps and scrapes (see pics); there's some water staining on the left side; some chips on the top right. The inside has remnants of old paper linings.
