Walnut Aesthetic Movement Leather Topped 2 Drawer Desk c.1880

Very attractive English Aesthetic Movement walnut desk with leather tooled inset top and 2 little drawers. A lovely piece in solid walnut with some good well turned legs and supports, nicely aged. It's not always the case but this one retains its original decorative solid brass handles with, as mentioned, just the right amount of historic aging. The ochre coloured leather inset is finished with decorative gold edging and the whole piece sits well and is ready for work. A rather handsome little desk c.1880.
