Watch: Gents 1950s Camy Geneve Wrist Watch

The watch has a Swiss 17 jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement has two empty retaining screw holes… these screws are not required as the movement is held in place by the retaining ring. The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is chromium plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is pitting and wear to the chrome plate. The case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. There is some scratching to the back of the watch. The lens is in good condition. The signed dial is in its original finish with original dauphine shaped hands and subsidiary seconds. There is a little marking to the dial but not too detrimental at all. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box.
