We have a particular interest in the Arts and Crafts movement, and much of our stock dates to this era. We’ve published several books on antiques, which are available via Amazon.
We have a large dealers unit at Carlton Fine Arts and Antiques Centre in Salts Mill, Saltaire, West Yorkshire, and we stand at fine arts and antiques fairs in Yorkshire and Lancashire.

Description
We have for sale a very rare and lovely example of a William Billingsley decorated Pinxton cup and saucer dating to around 1798. The cup cup and saucer is simply and rather beautifully decorated with garden flowers by Billingsley and is illustrated in “The patterns & shapes of the Pinxton china factory” by N. D. Gent.
This Pinxton cup and saucer was exhibited as part of the selling exhibition of rare Derby, Pinxton, Nantgarw and Swansea porcelain 'A journey with William Billingsley' 2016, ISBN: 9783741809903 and is also illustrated in William Billingsley The Enigmatic Porcelain Artist Decorator and Manufacturer, ISBN: 9783741868078.

condition
It is in a very good condition other than the expected glaze faults and a small firing crack to the base of the handle and a small area of wear to the decoration of a rose on the saucer.
