William Manners - Artist

William Manners RBA was born in Bradford in 1860 and was a landscape artist. He exhibited between 1885 and 1904. He lived in Otley before moving to the Lake District where many of his best paintings were produced. He exhibited at the RA but principally at the Royal Society of British Artists where he showed 41 works and was elected RBA in 1893. He died in 1942.
