19th Century Brass Gothic Medieval Church Religious Casket

Here is a superbly detailed antique Victorian brass gothic casket depicting medieval style scenes on all sides and the lid. The scenes seem to depict various aspects of medieval life and possibly also of Jesus Christ. Each side has different scene and there appear to be saints with croses and books, and what appears to be a king and queen in a different panel. The box and lid are unlined. It is very heavy for its size and seems to be of solid brass. There are various versions of these caskets, and this is a good one. The casting is quite crisp and it has the right amount of patina, neither too bright nor too dark. The lid of the box shows very slightly darker than the other sides. The item is unmarked with any maker's name. There is a faux tab lock to the lid which was not designed to have any key. The hinges are sound.
