Antique French Very Tall Long Case Comtoise Clock 1900s

Condition is pretty good structurally: it's quite sound and the various (removable) doors and flaps work fine. Cosmetically it has various bumps and scrapes as expected with the age. There's a couple of holes in the pressed metal surround (see pics). Some old light woodworm: we've treated it all over to be sure. As for the clock motion, it does seem to work but I can't get it to go for long. It might just need to stand at the right angle (classic temperamental beasts, these..), or it might need a clean. The chimes work and were in sync with the time shown, which to me indicates it's been working recently.
