Description
The watch has a good quality 15 jewel, stem-winding pocket watch which is working nicely. The movement is unsigned but has been identified as a Cyma calibre number 949. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the back covers for Birmingham 1902 together with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. The Dennison Watch Case Company was a prolific manufacturer of cases, and supplier to various watch makers.
The case is in good condition with just a small “ding” to the back. The inner covers have some light surface scratches.
The movement is later to the case although correct for this type of case ( possibly an economic repair )
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, James Wadsworth, Manchester. The dial is in good condition. Original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.

Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the red 'Buy Now' button on each listing page.
