Exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver photograph frame; an addition to our diverse ornamental collection.
This exceptional antique Victorian photograph frame in sterling silver has a serpentine shaped form with a rectangular arched internal window.
The body of this silver frame is embellished with embossed scrolling leaf ornamentation, accented with a floral motifs and trellis patterns.
The body of this Victorian antique silver frame is further ornamented with an embossed gadroon decorated border paralleling the shaped rim.
The arched internal window is encompassed with a plain border.
This frame retains the original oak wood back and hinged strut, securing with two swivel catches.
This fine Victorian piece is inset with a removable glass panel.
