Bob McKay was born in Hartford,Connecticut but moved to England at the age of eight years and was awarded a three year scholarship to the Liverpool School of Art and Lithography at the age of thirteen years.Worked mainly in the lithographic industry and then turned to his artistic career having numerous one man exhibitions plus a joint exhibition with the marine watercolourist Richard Joicey which was opened by Sir Alex Rose.Numerous artistic accolades including being Winner in the Champagne Mumms Admiral Cup international marine art competition,Cowes week.Work exhibited at the Royal Society of Marine Artists
