Description
A striking Flight, Barr & Barr period Worcester porcelain dessert plate with shaped gilt gadrooned rim. A bright apple green enamelled ground with shaped central reserve ornately framed with gilt scrolls and graduating dots. In the centre is a finely painted botanical specimen of a martagon type lily in a rich red with green and yellow and the detail picked out very delicately in black. Factory mark stamped to the reverse, c.1815-1819.

The Fancy Fox has clarified that the Flight Barr & Barr Worcester Porcelain Botanical Dessert Plate Martagon Lily c.1815 (LA514058) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1815-1819
condition
In excellent condition; there is a small slither chip to the reverse of one of the gadroons which cannot be seen from the front or side view. No other damage or repair and minimal handling wear.
