Description
The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement, grade 210, which is working nicely. The movement has nicely patterned plates, a Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision, and it carries the serial number 19,129,778 which dates it back to 1913.
The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was made by the Wadsworth Watch Case Company, unusually their name can be found running around the outside of the movement. The case has the odd small mark but overall is in good condition for such an early piece.
The acrylic lens has light marking but is very acceptable.
The signed dial has blued steel hands, a sunken subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
There is a short faint hairline underneath the subsidiary seconds dial.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.

All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.

Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the red 'Buy Now' button on each listing page.
