Scandinavian / Swedish 'Folk Art' Small Wooden Bench Late 19th Century

For sale is a delightful and beautifully crafted small Swedish wooden stool / small bench in an attractive curved shape. A rustic / 'Folk Art' Swedish antique of great utility and simple attractive design. - At circa 78cm of length this charming little stool/bench has curved ends and a slanted edge around the outer edge of the Pine seat. - The stool has a lovely balance with four slanted Pine legs providing an animal like form. - The stool is of a great solid nature and in good condition throughout. A rich and worn patina/wear throughout from use at well over 100 years of use. - The legs are all recessed securely into the thick stool base (at circa 4.5cm) and have two wooden dowels securing the legs in place from the outer edge. All in all a usable and beautiful charming Swedish country antique of simple craft and great utility. *The wrought iron metal candlestick is for context and scale only and is not included in the sale price of the stool.
