Description
18th century creamware pottery hot water jug and cover by Wedgwood, of lovely plain baluster form with nice details including a stepped foot and bifurcated ribbed handle with decorative moulded leaf terminals. The nicely shaped incurved cover with globular knop and incised ring around the edge. Impressed Wedgwood, c.1780.

In very good condition with no damage, repair or restoration to the jug. The cover has three small shallow chips to the underside edge. No repair or restoration. There is a small underglaze chip to the cover from manufacture.
