Royal Worcester was established in 1751 and during the height of its popularity in the 18th and 19th Centuries was producing an innovative range of
porcelain. The works had been founded to help provide employment in the Worcester area and they worked with the Bristol firm of Lund & Miller to create a
soft pottery which incorporated soapstone. This gave Worcester porcelain its unique white tone still admired today. Their designs and decoration were also
