Burr Wood Treen Cup Shaped Pomander - Signed by The Turner

Beautiful Burr Wood Walnut, that's all you need to know...well I'll tell you a bit more. Hewn from a solid piece of burr wood timber to highlight the very nice grain and detail this piece can offer. Very fine wood working skills to created the top edge, sadly has had a couple of losses on the edge as you can see from the photos. That said, charmingly turned to create a stumpy goblet shape, nevertheless it turned out fine. Small holes in the base of the pomander. Would look great with dried rose petals in the top. Look at the the base and this has been signed by the creator. Sadly we cannot make out the name, apart from possibly Jeta M. M.........., then Fuize in the centre. If it was dated it is now rubbed out. Lovely bit of history.
