Description
Fine 18th century Worcester porcelain oval dish with a blue scale ground, large central oval reserve with scalloped edge painted with a large spray of continental flowers in bright polychrome enamels. Four other shaped reserves around the sides with ornate rococo style gilded frames, each filled with sprays of flowers against a white ground. Additional gilt sprays painted over the scale blue ground and finished with a gilded rim. Blue fretted square mark to the base, c.1770.

Condition is very good with no damage or restoration and minimal handling wear to either enamels or gilding. There have been a couple of kiln dust blows taking small spots of green enamel with them and and a few areas of sparsely scattered kiln dust dots here and there.
