Description
Beautiful pottery work, detailed design and a highly decorative ceramic drip glaze finials. One of only four available. Ref 1001399
Love the detail of what I think is a design based loosely on large fir cones. The cone design rests on a splayed two stepped base, narrowing as it meets the bull nosed shaped collar. Very thick drip paint glaze has been created and this is one of only four individual piece creating the set. All available individually.
This finial has been formed on a wheel and not cast as there are no joints. Each piece is roughly the same size with slight variations. Each finial has the same style, colour and finish. This is where it the the similarity stops, as each piece has its own unique colour drip pattern. Therefore this is not a mass produced production line carbon copy, so to speak.
Simply put, perfect decorative pieces for the home.
Last image shows all the four available. All available individually.
