Description
Matching pair of original Late 19th Century Arts & Crafts Copper brass candlesticks. In the manor of a design by Christopher Dresser (British, Glasgow, Scotland 1834–1904), for Benham & Froud.
What we like about this pair is they have been left alone to mature gracefully, and not polish to death. So you have the benefit of all the original copper and brass patinatination to enjoy (polishing is optional).
The detail is nice with a copper domed base, brass knopped stem, wooden handle with brass finials, flower petal designed capital & brass lipped sconce.
