Description
Decorative engine turned vintage Oak urn, probably early to mid 20th Century, and an item of architectural salvage, which could be used as a bowl or a decorative/sculptural piece. It was clearly designed for attaching to some other structure and has a vertical hole from the base centre to the middle of the cup as well as four smaller holes from the base sides into the stem, whose purpose is unclear. It could have formed part of a staircase or the top of a door pediment or bookcase. There is nothing to suggest a cover was ever present.
We dispatch within 3 working days, following cleared payment. Items are carefully and securely packed and most are postage free on the UK mainland.
Distance Selling Regulations give buyers the right to cancel the purchase within 7 days after receipt of the item, for a full refund less Return transport costs.
Additional items used to assist in photography are Not included in the sale unless clearly stated.
The items for sale are not new, some have considerable age and that can also mean wear. I have tried to highlight major areas of obvious wear, damage or restoration but wear of a general nature must be expected with older items.
We accept Paypal or telephone payment, with most debit & credit cards accepted.

condition
condition
There is an area of decay to the underside corner of the base and some minor shrinkage cracks to parts of the wood and I have tried to show some of these in the photographs. However, the condition is generally commensurate with the age and use the item has been put to.
